Chaco Canyon is miles away from the things of modern man. Each year -- at summer solstice, winter solstice and the equinoxes -- the sun can be viewed from different markers. Marks of the ancient Chacoan culture can also be seen throughout the San Juan Basin in northwestern New Mexico. In this video, park interpreter G.B. Cornucopia and others guide us through the canyon and its ruins.

This is Sam R.
With a phrase like "using light and sound to trace the line that connects us as humans" it should be called "The Philosopher" and not "The Documentarian?"
Just kidding, nice blog, very serious photo of you at the top!
Hi Lillian,
Love the video you put together! I included it on my blog post, "Summer Solstice at Chaco Canyon: A Short Film" (http://www.spiritofchacoblog.com/2008/08/summer-solstice-at-chaco-canyon-a-short-film.html) - with links back to you, of course!
It was great to meet you at Chaco over solstice this year. I'll look forward to more of your great films!
