I was having a glass of wine with friends at Les Bourgeois winery along the Missouri River this evening when I turned around to see a man named Karl propose to his girlfriend just feet from my table. She said "yes," as you can see.
I'd like to thank Karl for popping the question at sunset. I'd like to thank Sarah Flagg for jabbing me in the ribs and telling me to turn around.

Nice photos Lilli. I must admit I got a little teary eyed, but that could be the allergies and the fact that I'm listening to Joshu Radin. Seriously nice job on capturing the emotion of their special moment!

I can't decide whether this is a picture with a story to go along with it, or a story with a picture to help someone visualize it. Maybe neither. This picture captures that emotion you'd expect from such a moment so well. And thus it makes me happy :) Buena fotografía!
